Adam & Eve and (http://www.AdamAndEve. com/news), America’s most trusted source for adult products, today announced increases in sales and profits for the second quarter of 2011.

Continuing to shift from traditional to online marketing, Adam & Eve posted a 5.5% increase in sales and a 24% spike in profits over second quarter 2010.

“We are extraordinarily pleased with the second quarter 2011 results,” says Chad Davis, Director of Marketing for Adam & Eve. “The evolutionary changes we have gone through in the last two to three years have certainly contributed to these increases… We haven’t seen profits so high since 2009.”

Davis attributes much of these increases to success with paid search results, marketing through podcasts, social marketing and new advertising opportunities.

“Some of the new marketing areas have been more efficient than direct mail marketing. The shift in the marketing channels away from direct mail has impacted our profit,” says Davis. “The huge variety of quality adult oriented products, as well as the ease and anonymity offered through ordering from continues to be one of the reasons we remain successful.”

With more than 10 million satisfied customers and 40 years of experience, Adam & Eve continues to be the nation’s most trusted and largest adult superstore.
