French property estate agents Leggett Immobilier (http://www.frenchestateagents.com) are pleased to announce a marked increase in enquiries from international purchasers looking to buy a house in France following successful experiences at renowned French property trade shows “The France Show” and “A Place in the Sun”.

Leggett Immobilier is one of the leading estate agencies in France with an unrivalled network of agents across the country. Managing Director, Trevor Leggett comments:

“Enquiry levels from both shows are substantially up from both 2009 and 2010. Indeed we have seen an almost 100% increase from last year. It’s clear that the stability of the French property market is proving attractive to international property investors. This is particularly the case for property on the Cote D’Azur where our representatives have already closed a significant number of sales this year.

With French mortgage rates remaining at their lowest levels since World War II, this increase in demand for property in France is likely to continue.

Leggett Immobilier has representatives in the 58 most popular departments of France and have sold almost €500 million of French property over the two decades we have been trading.

“We are optimistic about the future and continue to seek new recruits to join the team.It will be interesting to see the new set of figures on French house prices that the FNAIM are due to publish next month and if our recent experiences with international property purchasers are anything to go by then we could well see a continuation of the positive trend they announced in January.”
